Want to quickly turn off the monitor? Then you can create a shortcut to do that rather quickly
Switching ON and Off monitors can sometimes cause hardware problems – in Labs and offices where multiple monitors are in use, it’s annoying to switch off each and every monitor via the power button. You can lock the screen by pressing Windows + L, but then it’s still consuming power
1. Step First download the utitlity software nircmd and run the .exe file.
2. Step Now on desktop right click on empty space-> Go to New-> Select Shortcut.
3. Step Now in the location field type the follwing command “C:\path\to\nircmd.exe” cmdwait 1000 monitor off ->
Click Next-> Name it-> click Finish.
4. Step Your shortcut is ready.
