If you are only looking for a quick workaround to prevent some users from opening the explorer, you can simply kill the explorer.exe using a batch script when you log in. However, we suggest if you need more protection that you should get a real program that revokes access to the explorer.

However, if you only want to to disable the explorer.exe to get rid of distraction follow this:
1. Step Open notepad editor
2. Step Enter taskkill /IM explorer.exe /T
3. Step Save the notepad file as a .bat file and select “all files” from the dropdown. If you need more instructions for this step please read our tutorial How to save notepad file as .bat file
