The most impressive technology gadget of the CES 2010 was probably the LBO Light Touch. It’s a device that makes use of holographic laser projection, it creates a projected AND sharp touch screen on any surface.
A sharp, working touch screen beamed on any flat surface sounds like science fiction, right? No longer!
Holographic Laser Projection (short HLP) is a revolution. The Light Touch device converts an image into diffraction patternsĀ and creates multiple patterns of a 2D image to combine them to one sharp and clearly defined image.
Transforming a flat surface into a touch screen opens a lot of doors for new inventions and could come in handy whenever there is no room for a real touch-screen monitor.

This isnt the holographic display that we are waiting on. Why are they throwing around the name? To stimulate excitement in the un-informed I guess.
