1. Step Head over to this website
2. Step On the site they have a very responsive cartridge selector
3. Step Select your model from the dropdown or enter your model
4. Step If you can’t find the correct model and don’t know what other cartridges are compatible, simply enter the exact name into the search
5. Step After performing a full text search you may still not get your cartridges. Instead select the printer on the right – in my case the HP Laserjet Pro 200 M276
6. Step Now, below the printer you will find all related cartridges and toners that will work with your printer. There are high-yield and regular cartridges.
In most cases the high-yield cartridges are not a lot more expensive, so I recommend to buy those instead e.g. the OEM HP Laser Cartridge, CF210X (Type 131X) High-Yield Black Toner. Remember your model (e.g. CF210X ) if you want to search for it next time
7. Step Of course you can also buy “fake” cartridges rather than brand cartridges but we recommend to use the brand ones to avoid trouble. You will not lose your guarantee if you use the fake ones, but the brand cartridges deliver always the same quality – with fakes ones you can run into trouble. Plus the brands will last longer usually
The shipping of the cartridges and printers is free within the US. However Canada and HI, AK, APO, Puerto Rico or Guam are excluded from free shipping
What Printer Do You Suggest
If you still don’t have a decent printer, I suggest you visit the following link to check out some of HP’s best printers of the Laserjet series. As the name suggest they are laser printers, so instead of ink it uses toner cartdriges:
