Won’t work with DELL/HP Laptops:
As we previously reported, a disadvantage of MJB is that it can’t retrieve keys from DELL laptops. DELL or HP laptops are mass-produced and have a master-key, but for a re-installation of Windows 7 you will need a normal Windows 7 product key or you won’t be able to install it.
“Won’t work with DELL/HP Laptops:” is NOT TRUE, I own a Dell Inspiron Laptop, Purchased a Year ago, MJB works Fine on my Laptop, it found the Key within Seconds with No hesitation or Problems.
I do not know or cannot speak for HP Laptops, but I can for Dell, Since Dell was incorporated in ’84 I have bought ONLY Dell, I have tried others, but always go back to Dell, I have worked (A+ Technician) on Computers for as long as computers have been around.
Another Great Alternative is Rock XP, don’t let the name misguide you, it works on all versions of Windows OS’s. But your AV Program may warn of a Virus or Trojan with RockXP, but don’t worry, if you retrieve it from Author’s Site, it is Clean.
This may be a unique situation of mine where MJB works on this Dell, or Works on Certain Models Only… Good Luck, Happy Geeking…
